Youth Sunday, A Success!!!

Today was Youth Sunday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  Joe helped out with the music portion.  We spent yesterday morning at PGUMC while the youth worked on the two musical numbers, "Fix You" and "I Believe".  Besides the musical numbers the youth were in charge of all aspects of todays service: the reading of scripture, testimonies, children's time, joys & concerns, offering, and communion.  It was wonderful to see the youth so involved in every aspect of the service and they did a wonderful job.  They even had the adults in the congregation up and dancing (something you rarely see at PGUMC).  All the youth and youth leaders involved deserve a big round of applause for a job well done!

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to be present for both the 8:30am and 11am services.  I'm very proud of all involved and of course, glad to get the chance to see Joe work with youth again like in his teaching days.

Thank you to everyone who took the time this morning to speak to me and offer support and happiness over Joe's CT scan results.  We are still on cloud nine over that!
