3rd Day Home

Today is Thursday and Joe's 3rd day home since being released from Duke following his surgery.  He continues to get stronger.  Yesterday we think he overdid it a little as he was a bit worn out last night so today he took it a little easier, spending more time resting rather than moving around the house all day.  This evening although tired, he is not nearly as spent as last night.  We might even be able to stay up until after 9pm tonight!

A big thank you to everyone who has brought food and stopped by to say hello to Joe.  The meals have been delicious and the visits have helped Joe's spirits immensely.
